King Salmon
During June of 2018 Jordan Adair of Humboldt State University flew an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) over King Salmon, CA to collect high resolution imagery. The imagery collected is to be used for Eelgrass monitoring in Humboldt Bay. This project was funded by and in contribution with Thomas Gast & Associates Environmental Consultants. Below is the UAV imagery of King Salmon with Esri world imagery as the background. Using the top left icon on the map you can turn the UAV imagery on and off to see the resolution difference when compared to traditional satellite imagery. This page was created by Jim Graham and Jordan Adair of Humboldt State University. The imagery was collected using a DJI Phantom 4 Pro. The altitude of the flights was 200 feet and the resolution of the color imagery is approximately 2 centimeters.
